Discover 5 unique Cornish artists all offering something a little different
The little village of Mount Hawke, near Porthtowan on the north coast of Cornwall, is a hub of creativity and on the 9th and 10th of December village artists are welcoming you into their homes or studios. Two venues and 5 Cornish artists will be selling a range of affordable handmade gifts from ceramics and jewellery to original art and limited edition prints.
Fiona Cant is a Cornish artist that paints abstract landscapes inspired by Cornwall and will be opening her home to showcase her work and that of two other artists, Jess Berriman who makes ceramic jewellery and Dawn Howarth who makes hand thrown pots.
Fiona’s work is full of colour, and the joy of being in the Cornish landscape. She work in all scales and paintings will be available from 1m x 1m to 15cm x 15cm. There will also be cards, calendars, and limited edition prints available so something for all budgets. But there is no obligation to buy, just come along for a bit of festive cheer, mulled wine, mince pies or just to chat arty stuff.
