Nestled in the woods near Penzance, Poppy and her small team of stitchers have sustainability, the environment and a good dose of humour at the forefront of their minds as they handmake the quirky, colourful and just plain useful products.

From tea cosies to tea towels, mugs to make up bags and sandwich wraps to storage pots there are gifts galore all designed by Poppy on her trusty old Singer sewing machine.

Poppy Treffry Cornwall Since Poppy discovered that she could draw with an old Singer sewing machine her Grandad rescued from a skip she has been creating quirky stitched designs using freehand machine embroidery.

Her sketchbook is always to hand and the adventures she records in pencil on the go continue to inspire Poppy’s stitched designs; whether from the woodlands around the studio, the local beach walk on the south Cornish coast or a childhood memory.
