Fused Glass Across the Globe with its Heart in Cornwall
Jo Downs is a world-renowned fused glass designer with six galleries across the UK, including five in Cornwall. Working from her Cornwall studio, Jo credits the beauty of the Cornish coastline for inspiring her iconic collections.
We love one of her classic beautiful glass bowls the Polperro Large Deep Dish featuring shades of sea blues with copper foil fish. Each piece is handmade and hand-coloured and the perfect complement to any home.

We are huge fans of the very talented Louise Daykin Prints whose exceptional carving talent transpires into beautiful artwork and homewares. From stunning prints to sustainably sourced unbleached organic cotton tea towels and fair-trade organic cotton cushion covers, all sourced from her designs, her work captures the beauty of Cornwall on so many levels.
One of our particular favourites is her engine house design “Beautiful Cornwall” which you can enjoy elegant as unbleached organic cotton tea towels that give any kitchen and feel of sophistication.
Out of this Cornish Earth
A love of the sea and its contrasting coasts and the countryside found in the South West of England is main inspiration for Jayne Randall’s Pottery as well her other love are plant seed heads. When creating her pieces from coils and slabbed clay they evoke rough dark cliffs to shifting sands, estuaries and moorland the textures are used on her vessels and bases, are unique and evocative.
Her spectacular lamps are extremely sort after and no garden would be complete without several of her gorgeous seed heads. She has the gift of bringing the earth beneath us into breathtaking creations.
Cornish Tin Crafted from the Heart
The South Crofty Tin Mine was the last mine to close, ending production in 1998. The last of the tin extracted from the mine prior to its closure has been stockpiled solely for the purpose of producing jewellery and giftware by the South Crofty Collection.
Each piece is handmade here in Cornwall by the lovely Sadie from this pure Cornish tin, giving you the chance to own a little piece of Cornish history.
Embodying a classic aesthetic, her Kerenza Tin Triple Disc pendant is created from pure Cornish tin that has been expertly rolled, hammered, and polished to a breathtaking sheen. Each of the three individual discs boasts its own unique texture, creating a harmonious interplay of contrasts. Perfection!
