I’m a surface pattern designer originally from tropical Colombia, now settled on beautiful Cornwall. I love designing prints with bold graphic elements, striking colour combinations and a good dose of playfulness. My graphic design background strongly influences everything I create.
Bright colours are essential for my survival. I’m a perfectionist, a geek and an organisational freak. I also love dancing when nobody is looking (and when everybody is looking)!

And in 2016, inspired by many late nights in our beachside bar, we put our heads together to create a liquor company that had flavour, quality and original character at its heart – and St Ives Liquor Co was born.
Now whether it’s the fresh botanicals picked from St Ives’ coastlines, moors and cliff tops for our small batch, handcrafted gin, or our vibrant range of liqueurs made from entirely natural ingredients, St Ives Liquor Co is bringing a new spirit experience to each and every sip.

Hi I’m Poppy,
Since I discovered that I could draw with an old Singer sewing machine my Grandad rescued from a skip I’ve been creating quirky stitched designs using freehand machine embroidery ever since.
My sketchbook is always to hand and the adventures I record in pencil on the go continue to inspire my stitched designs; whether from the woodlands around the studio, the local beach walk on the south Cornish coast or a childhood memory.

The sea and its different moods have always been in my life. Especially its sound, which can be carried many miles inland on the wind, it is a constant background noise to life in Cornwall.
The colour, reflections and translucent quality of glass instantly captured my heart. To me it has a similar quality to water. It is enigmatic you can look at it, or through it.
