Winners Announced for the 2025 Made in Cornwall Awards
The winners of the 2025 Made in Cornwall Awards have been announced, celebrating the very best of Cornish craftsmanship, creativity, and enterprise. The annual awards recognise businesses and individuals who exemplify the quality, authenticity and innovation that define Cornwall’s rich maker community.
This year’s event saw a record number of entries, reflecting the growing strength and diversity of Cornwall’s creative economy. From artisan producers to environmental pioneers, each winner demonstrated exceptional skill, integrity and passion for their craft.

Celebrating Cornish Excellence
The Made in Cornwall Awards highlight the importance of supporting local enterprise and protecting Cornish provenance. Each winner represents the creativity, sustainability and community values that underpin Cornwall’s identity.

The Made in Cornwall Scheme, supported by Cornwall Council Trading Standards, continues to champion businesses producing genuine Cornish goods, ensuring quality and integrity remain at the heart of the region’s economy.

In the Cornish Craftsmanship category, the judges recognised the makers whose work showcases exceptional handmade quality and traditional skill. Taking home Gold was Louise Daykin Prints, whose exquisite hand-burnished lino prints, inspired by Cornwall’s coast and wildlife, perfectly capture the beauty of Cornwall. The Silver award went to Hartwood Timber, specialists in sustainable woodworking and bespoke timber craftsmanship, praised for their dedication to locally sourced materials and timeless design. Catherine Amesbury received Bronze for her intricately detailed craft pieces that celebrate Cornwall’s rich artistic heritage and design tradition.



Turning to the Food Producer category, which celebrates excellence in locally made Cornish food, Bees Off claimed the Gold award. This remarkable company not only produces pure Cornish honey but also rescues and relocates wild bee colonies, supporting biodiversity and sustainability. Silver was awarded to Primrose Herd, a much-loved family farm producing award-winning, free-range pork and charcuterie with deep Cornish roots. Phat Pasty Co secured Bronze for their creative take on Cornwall’s most iconic dish, combining quality local ingredients with innovation and flair.



In the Artist of the Year category, which honours artistic excellence that reflects Cornwall’s creative spirit, Tess Dawson Art took the Gold. Tess’s stunning animal portraits capture the soul of Cornwall’s loveable furry friends. The Silver award went to Made By Caroline, whose delightful, handcrafted pieces bring joy to every customer, while Saskia Silver Designs earned Bronze for her elegant jewellery and art inspired by the beauty of Cornwall.



The Taking Cornwall Places category celebrates those helping to elevate Cornwall’s reputation regionally, nationally, and internationally. This year’s Gold went to W Stevenson & Son, a respected Cornish business that has long been a cornerstone of the local fishing industry and an ambassador for the region’s excellence. Silver was awarded to Behaviour Change Cornwall, an environmental social enterprise transforming ocean plastics and ghost nets into meaningful art and jewellery while promoting marine conservation. Dr Martin Raskovskyreceived Bronze for his work in helping raise Cornwall’s cultural and professional profile beyond the county’s borders.



Environmental innovation took centre stage in the Eco-Champion category, which recognises businesses leading the way in sustainability. Behaviour Change Cornwall once again impressed the judges, earning Gold for their outstanding leadership in tackling plastic pollution and championing circular economy practices. Silver went to Hartwood Timber, whose sustainable sourcing and waste-conscious production embody responsible craftsmanship, while Bronze was awarded to Louise Daykin Prints for her eco-friendly production methods and ethical material choices.



Finally, the Drink Producer award celebrated excellence and innovation in Cornish beverages. The Gold went toKeltek Brewery, an independent, family-owned brewery that continues to uphold traditional brewing methods while producing award-winning ales inspired by Cornwall’s heritage and flavours.
