Hi, I'm Jon

Having learnt to use a lathe as a youngster, I am delighted to have honed those skills; using a combination of traditional methods and more modern technology and materials (new and recycled) to create beautiful things. That each of our unique pieces of writing equipment or needlework tool enables someone else to be creative is massively satisfying. For the bigger items, clocks etc, I am always keen to use that piece of wood which has real character and would quite likely end up on a firewood pile.
