Proud to support Made in Cornwall

With over a century of family beekeeping experience passed down through generations, Spring Cottage Cornish Honey still manage their bees using those very traditional methods.

Their happy bees are lovingly nurtured in orchards, woodland farms, re-wilding projects, old market gardens and biodiversity projects in Mid-Cornwall, all within a short radius of their home apiary at the cottage garden.

The distinctive character of each apiary’s flora means their bees produce a range of different coloured and textured honeys, all suffused with the delicate flavours of the Celtic countryside.

To bring you the best honeys, full of all the pollens and enzymes the bees themselves would enjoy, nothing is added or taken away so that you can enjoy delicious Cornish honey, straight from the hives, just as nature intended.

SPRING COTTAGE HONEY Hi, I'm David

I was first mesmerised by a couple of tumble-down hives at the bottom of my great uncle’s cob nut plantation at about the age of four or five. They sparked a life-long fascination that began as a hobby and has now evolved into a small family business producing a range of artisan honeys.

With over a hundred years of beekeeping experience passed down through the family to me as a young child, I’m proud to still manage our bees and harvest their honey in traditional ways that my very Victorian great uncle would still recognise.
